The Green Jacket
The official beginning of Autumn 2017 depends on whether you're a meteorologist or an astronomer. Meteorologists believe it starts on September 1st (determined using the simple Met Office method of splitting each season equally into three months), whilst astronomers are more scientific about it and say that it starts on September 22nd, the same day as the autumnal equinox (the day on which the Northern hemisphere begins to tilt away from the Sun). It's all a bit confusing!
Well, regardless of whenever autumn "officially" begins, I'm certainly looking forward to it with Halloween, Guy Fawkes Night and, most importantly, the inevitable build up to Christmas - yay! I haven't done a fashion post in a little while so with the season of cute cosy jumpers pending, I thought I'd share one of my typical outfits at this time of year (which also features my favourite jacket ever!).
I bought this green jacket from Superdry about 2 years ago and it's honestly one of the best things I've ever purchased! I wear it pretty much anytime anywhere (although not so much in winter as it's freezing cold in Scotland) and I absolutely love it. It's got six main pockets (and they're not just there for decoration - they are actually genuine pockets!) which are really useful and large enough for my phone and a purse etc. Best jacket ever!!
My cropped top and high-waisted jeans are both more recent buys from Hollister. I bought the black boot heels from Primark ages ago. They were only £12 and are really comfy and easy to walk (and half run!) in too!
Oh and I can't forget to add the silly picture of me in this outfit too...
