Walks

You’ve probably figured out from some of my previous posts that I absolutely love walking. It’s one of my favourite activities at all times of year!

Well, on Saturday I went out up a hill with my family and the outcome was... interesting to say the least. It started off great (dry weather, little wind, not too cold) then turned miserable as we reached the summit (rain, howling wind, freezing temperature). This was made even worse by the fact I was perhaps not dressed the most appropriately for the occasion (leggings really aren’t fun when they get soaked!) plus we kinda got a little lost too...

What an adventure to say the least. It was a bit of a disaster - we even forgot to pack our lunches so couldn’t have had them even had the weather been better. But regardless of how horrendous the conditions were, the surrounding environment was absolutely beautiful (when we could see it at least) and I managed to get a couple of pretty photos too.

So given my love of photographing bits and pieces on different walks, I thought I’d share some of my favourite photos from various walks I’ve done...
